In 1832 the Glen Scotia distillery is founded in Campbeltown, Victorian Capital for the Scottish Whisky being one of the three distilleries that are still active today and the only one that produces Single Malts. Each cask is selected by master mixer JOHN PETERSON.
Our portfolio has distinctive Single Malts. Each one, a faithful representation of its place of origin, honoring the landscape and the history that have shaped the unique Scotland spirit. Certainly, wherever you are in the world, when you try our whiskies, you will be experimenting the spirit of a very special place.
Our master mixer selects casks of our reserves which duplicate the Victorian era Whiskies.
Each cask is selected for its singular character and its exceptional matureness. The Whisky is then aged in burnt oak casks, which provide this single malt a harmony in its flavor and scent.
It is bottled the traditional way, directly from the cask unfiltered. The subtle wood and vanilla flavor is accentuated with scent from species, fruits and finally smoked at 51.5° proof.
