Casa Silva has the oldest winery of the Colchagua Valley. However, under its historical and traditional façade, lies one of the most modern wineries in Chile.
Located between centuries-old vineyards of the fundo de Angostura, with advanced technology, different casks rooms with perfect conditions for the wine custody and an especially equipped sector for small winemaking.
In its interior you can also find underground tunnels, as well as a beautiful collection of antique cars.
Their flagship wines, Doña Dominga were born in mid-1999, with a modern and innovative vision of Viña Casa Silva that seeks to express the best features of its land, people and traditions.
They are made with grapes that come from 100% proper vineyards, from the Colchagua Valley.

Ruby red with violet hues. On the nose, intense and spicy, it offers aromas of red cherries and notes of cinnamon and chocolate. The palate is silky, juicy and balanced. Powerful despite being soft, also has an excellent acidity and a great body. very nice finish.

With a history dating back from 1881, Cellar 8 honors the memory of its creator Andrea Sbardoro who brought to Sonoma the Italian traditions of the wine producing art.

PERFECT CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Perfect representative of a California Cabernet Sauvignon, in cup is ruby and intense. Blackberry, plums, toasted bread and cinnamon aromas. In mouth is dry with the taste of ripe fruits, cloves and toasted oak. Very soft and mature tannins, followed by a long and very pleasant end.

The first pages of the fabulous story of Maison Mumm in the making of wines were written long before 1827, the date of its official foundation. In 1761 the family already had a wine-making and marketing business based in Cologne (Germany) under the name "P.A.Mumm", initials and surname of its owner Peter Arnold Mumm. The company owned extensive vineyards in the Rhine Valley, where it made its own wines.
In the early years of the 19th century, Mumm's three sons recognized the commercial potential of the exceptional sparkling wines produced in the Champagne region of France and took the bold decision to create a branch of the family business in Champagne, Reims.
From the beginning, quality was the key slogan and it has continued to be for all its successors. This principle would be reflected in the motto coined by Georges Hermann Mumm: "Only the best".
MUMM CORDON ROUGE:
45% of the blend is Pinot Noir, emblematic strain of the house chosen for its structure and power. This is combined with the subtlety and elegance of Chardonnay (30%) and the fruity roundness of Pinot Meunier (25%).
25% to 30% of the reserve wines are added to these unique vintage wines, which adds complexity and completeness to the final blend. Shipping liqueur is also added in a dosage of only 8 grams per liter.
Finally, G.H. MUMM Cordon Rouge is allowed to rest in the house's cellars for two and a half years (almost double the time required by the legislation).
COLOR: A light golden yellow and bright in color, its abundant delicate bubbles bear witness to the elegance and vigor of this Champagne.
SCENT: The nose reveals early aromas of ripe fresh fruit (white and yellow peaches, apricots), tropical notes (lychee or pineapple). A followed opens with the fragrance of vanilla before developing notes of milky caramel, breadcrumbs and yeast, culminating with aromas of nuts and honey.
FLAVOR: The freshness bursts into the palate, followed by great length in the mouth and rich subtle bubbles. Perfect balance combines with a round and wide winemaking; Complex aromas of fresh fruits and caramel prolong the intensity.
END: Wonderfully round.
MARRIAGE: It can be enjoyed as an aperitif. Its aromatic richness is also a perfect complement to white meats and fish such as monkfish or mullet, and is also an ideal complement to the creamy flavors of foie gras.
